BOOKING INFORMATION & DEADLINES

Hello! Nikayla & Quiavious are getting married at Borghinvilla & have pre-reserved rooms at Hyatt Ziva/Zilara Rose Hall with a special set rate for the travel window of September 24 - October 1, 2024. Guests may extend their stay, pending availability. This resort requires a 3 night minimum for all guests. 

Deadlines
After you have discussed your travel dates with family & friends, you are ready to make a deposit!

• Room deposit of $100 per person plus the cost of chosen insurance plan (optional) is due no later than: October 31, 2023 
• Final room payments due: June 25, 2024

All Inclusive resorts are priced per person, based on how many individuals are booked in a room.

The rates listed are PER PERSON and include:

DO I NEED A PASSPORT?

Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website.

A passport BOOK is required - Passport Cards, Enhanced Drivers Licenses or SENTRI cards are not valid for air travel. If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date.

The US State Department recommends that international travelers have 6 months of validity remaining on their passport after their return trip date.

IS COVID TESTING REQUIRED FOR TRAVEL?

Entering Jamaica: Currently, Jamaica does not require any type of testing or vaccination to enter the country.

Returning to the US: Effective June 13, 2022, the US no longer requires a negative covid test to return to the US. However, the CDC has stated that this policy will be re-addressed every 90 days or if a new covid variant requires it. If you'd like to read more about this requirement, please visit:

IS TRAVEL INSURANCE REQUIRED?

Because group reservations at all inclusive resorts are pre-paid and non-refundable, travel insurance is encouraged to protect your investment. Life is unpredictable; plans can change.

The cost of insurance is based on your age, your state of residency and the total cost of your trip. Due to this, travel insurance prices will be quoted for each individual guest.

Without insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change.
Without insurance, you will also not have any medical coverage for mishaps or catastrophic events.
Your US health insurance will likely not work outside of the United States; please read the FAQ below for more detail.

IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN?

Yes! Initial deposits are due on October 31, 2023
There are no set requirements for payments, as long as final payments are made by the deadline. Final payments are due on June 25, 2024.

WHAT ABOUT AIRFARE & CLUB MOBAY?

While the group requests that you book your room with the group, you are welcome to book your own airfare. ​ Due to contract deadlines, we recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible and adding air when you're ready.

The closest airport is Sangster International Airport (MBJ). Transportation is only included from this airport. Hyatt Rose Hall is approximately 15 minutes from of the airport.  Included transportation is "private group" non-stop transportation, which is a shuttle that is designated for ONLY guests of the wedding directly to the resort. An upgrade to a "private party" (your immediate party only) non-stop vehicle is available upon request, see booking form for details.

If booking airfare on your own, please submit your detailed flight information no later than July 10, 2024. This is how we schedule your transportation pick up at your destination. Guests who do not submit their air information by the deadline will forfeit their included transfers.

If you would like assistance with air, we are happy to help! There is a $75 ticketing fee included in all of our air quotes.

CLUB MOBAY
This is an optional service to help navigate the immigrations & customs process on arrival and departure from MBJ airport.  You will be met at your plane by a personal escort that will fast track you through immigrations and you'll have access to Club Mobay lounge where you can change and/or wait for the rest of your party if arriving at different times.  This service also includes lounge access when departing with included beverages and light snacks.  This service is highly recommended for all travelers, but especially for those traveling to Jamaica for the first time.  See booking form for details.

I'M SHARING A ROOM WITH ANOTHER INVITED GUEST. HOW DOES THAT WORK?

​Yes! Please coordinate with your roommate and designate ONE person to fill out the reservation form.

Reservation forms should be one per ROOM, not one per person. When we get your form, we will email both of you and explain next steps.

If you and your roommate live at different addresses, please make sure to include the second passenger's contact info. This can go in the notes field.

Please note, if a roommate needs to cancel their reservation, the room is subject to an increased single occupancy room rate for the roommate still traveling.

CAN WE COME EARLIER OR STAY LATER?

Absolutely! ​If you would like to stay for dates before or after this date window, that is no problemo!

Please include your requested dates in your reservation form and I will confirm availability! Note: rates outside the room block dates may differ from our group rates quoted here.

WHAT IS A ROOM BLOCK?

This means that the group has paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group to lock in rates & availability just for you.

• The couple has signed a contract with the resort and has committed to a minimum number of rooms
• Only rooms booked with United Travel LLC count toward this contract
• The resort has a 3 night minimum stay requirement, but you are welcome to come earlier or stay later!
• We have reserved several different room types for you to choose from. Descriptions follow this FAQ

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T BOOK WITH UNITED TRAVEL LLC?

The couple has paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group. They have a group contract that allows them to offer additional benefits for their guests.

The group kindly asks that you book your hotel within our designated group contract here at United Travel LLC.

There are several reasons why you should honor the group's wishes and book the hotel portion with the group:

• The group has worked with us to negotiate a contract for the ENTIRE group. This includes a special set rate and included transportation.
• Groups are given priority status at the resort, so you might miss out on some VIP treatment.
• Groups are given priority room assignments, so if you book directly, you're likely getting a room that couldn't be sold to a group. It will be leftover inventory, probably in a undesirable location away from everyone else.
• Groups are given priority in terms of an oversold situation. If the hotel over sells, your group is protected, but an individual reservation is not. You could be walked to another location.

Guests who do not book within the group contract unfortunately:

• Will not get the group rates.
• Will have to pay up front vs. over time.
• Will not receive any pre-departure, trip support or post-trip support from us.
• Unfortunately we cannot assist with travel arrangements made outside of the group, nor can we assist in the event of an emergency.
• Will be required to pay a day pass on property to attend wedding events. Note: Day pass sales are extremely limited and based on current resort occupancy levels.

We are confident in our pricing but if you were to find a cheaper “deal” outside of United Travel LLC, please allow us an opportunity to price match. We would like to do our best to keep family and friends consolidated at the resort for accountability.

DOES YOUR NAME ON YOUR PASSPORT MATCH THE NAME ON YOUR RESERVATION?

The name that you use on your reservation needs to match the name on your passport exactly - including middle names. Please do not use nicknames, shortened names, etc. Please double check your passport to ensure that your name matches, or change fees may apply. Thanks!

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR COVID-19 TESTING?

Entering Your Destination: Your destination may have specific COVID testing requirements to *enter* the country. Please make sure that you understand these before booking. For a list of current requirements for popular destinations, reference COVID TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: MEXICO AND CARIBBEAN

IS YOUR PASSPORT EXPIRED OR WILL IT BE EXPIRING WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF YOUR TRAVEL DATES?

A passport is required for international travel, including for children & babies. Many countries (including Mexico, Costa Rica, St Lucia and throughout Europe) require that passports be valid for six months AFTER RETURN DATE OF TRAVEL.

ARE YOU USING A DEBIT CARD?

Most debit cards have daily charge limits. Depending on your bank, this daily charge limit may be as low as $500.

Please confirm the daily charge limit with your bank prior to submitting a large debit card payment. If you attempt to charge over your daily limit, your card will be declined.

ARE YOU PREGNANT OR PLANNING TO BECOME PREGNANT?

Pregnancy Restrictions: Some trips have restrictions for pregnant travelers. For example, cruise lines will not board a passenger after her 24th week of pregnancy. Ask us for more details

Travel Insurance and Pregnancy: Please read the coverage info carefully. In many policies, pregnancy is considered a pre-existing condition and is not a covered cancellation reason. In this case, you may want to consider "Cancel for Any Reason" coverage, an optional upgrade.

ARE YOUR TRAVELING WITH A CHILD WITHOUT BOTH BIOLOGICAL PARENTS PRESENT?

Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardian granting permission to travel outside the United States. This letter should also authorize the adult to provide emergency medical care if necessary.

You may not be able to get a passport or clear immigration if you have been convicted of a felony. Please contact your attorney to review the specifics of your case.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN CONVICTED OF A DUI/DWI?

If you are traveling to Canada and have been convicted of a DUI or DWI you will likely not be admitted to the country.

A DUI/DWI is a felony in Canada and entrance to non-residents is tightly controlled. Please contact your attorney to learn more.

DO YOU OWE BACK CHILD SUPPORT?

You may be detained at customs if you owe child support. Please contact your attorney to discuss prior to payment.

HAVE YOU PURCHASED TRAVEL INSURANCE?

"I don't need travel insurance.  I'm going on this trip no matter what!"
