We’re partners in business and in life (yup, we’re married!)—and we’re united in our goal to always show our clients how much we care. ​

In fact, our wedding is what put us on the path to starting United Travel together, with our focus on romance and travel celebrations.

That’s because we were a destination wedding couple ourselves! We gathered our favorite friends and family for a fabulous celebration in Punta Cana in 2016. All these years later, our guests still talk about how amazing it was!

But … boy, were there things we wished we had done differently. And there were a lot of things we just didn’t understand. Things that stressed us out on the biggest day of our lives. 

✘ The recommended officiant butchered our wedding vows.

✘ Two thirds of our wedding party decided to stay at a different resort— so it made logistics a nightmare.

✘ The wedding venue played the wrong processional song. 

✘  We got charged twice for food & beverage costs, and didn’t realize it until years later!

✘​ Our travel agent (yes, we hired one!) was totally checked out—they didn’t explain how things worked, what to expect, or how we could personalize our experience. 

✘​ Our wedding planner (yup, we hired that too!) lacked attention to detail and had horrible communication.

Above all else, we wished we had the proper support for such a BIG celebration. Someone who had our backs through it all, and who treated us like more than just a number.
